Hot Chocolate

Good for occasional cold winter day. Can be made with vanilla, cinnamon or cloves.

Makes 4 cups.

MAIN
- 2 cups water, almond milk or 50-50.
SPICE
- 2 tsp cocoa powder
- 4 medjool dates
- 1 tsp vanilla (optional)


In high speed blender, high power, blend water, milk, dates, cocoa and vanilla, 60s. Pour mixture into small pot and warm to steaming or just beginning to boil. Transfer back to high speed blender, being very careful with hot liquid, both pouring and blending, with hand over lid to prevent splash out, and again blend high power 60s, to blend air bubbles and froth air into drink. Serve foamy and hot.
